Privacy notice

Last updated 23 October 2026

SCOUT PRO is a private scouting platform used by a small professional scouting team. This notice explains which personal data the platform holds, why, where it is stored and what rights you have.

Who is responsible

SCOUT PRO is operated by Hrvoje Matej Lešić, who is the controller for the data described here. Contact for any privacy question or request: hrvojematejlesic@gmail.com.

What we process and why

People who use SCOUT PRO

For scouts and administrators we keep the name, email address, organisation and region you give us, your password (stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form), your role and approval status, and the time of your last sign-in. If you choose Continue with Google, Google sends us your name and your verified email address. We do not get access to your Google account, files or mail.

We use this to create and run your account and to decide who may see which data. The legal basis is the performance of the service you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Football players assessed by the team

For players the team follows we may keep: name, date or year of birth, nationality, positions, club, contract and representation details, physical and performance data such as height, preferred foot, minutes and match statistics, the scouts' assessments, reports and notes, photos, documents and links to match video.

We use this to identify and assess football talent for the team. The legal basis is the team's legitimate interest in professional scouting (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). To keep that balanced with the players' interests, the data stays internal, is limited to what an assessment needs, and is visible only to approved team members. The data comes from public sources such as match reports, league and federation websites and open datasets, from the scouts' own observations, and from documents provided by players, their representatives or clubs.

Some players are under 18. For them we keep the same limited data, never publish it, and give priority to requests from the player or a parent or guardian. Public news about a player, including news that mentions an injury, may be stored as a short linked item; we do not create medical assessments.

Technical data

SCOUT PRO uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Where the data is stored and who processes it

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and, for account data, a copy in a portable format. You can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21 GDPR); we then stop unless there are compelling legitimate grounds. Write to hrvojematejlesic@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Croatia the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr), or the authority where you live or work.

Changes

We update this notice when the processing changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
